Initial Contact

To ensure the notarial act proceeds smoothly, we kindly ask you to contact the Notary Office in advance. This allows us to determine the factual and legal status of the matter and prepare the appropriate draft of the deed. During the consultation (by phone or in person):

  • We will provide all necessary information regarding the planned transaction.
  • We will indicate the list of required documents.
  • We will calculate the total costs (notarial fees, taxes, court fees).

Important: The Notary does not charge fees for initial legal advice and consultations related to acts planned in the Office.

Proof of Identity

Before proceeding with any notarial act, the Notary is under an absolute obligation to verify the identity of all participants. For this purpose, please prepare and present the original of one of the following documents:

  • Polish ID Card
  • Passport

Note: Please ensure that the document is valid. An expired document (even by one day) does not allow for identity verification and will result in the inability to perform the act.

PESEL Verification

In accordance with current regulations, for certain acts (e.g., sale of real estate, powers of attorney), the Notary is obliged to verify in the state register whether a party's PESEL number is not reserved (blocked).

Please check the status of your PESEL number before your visit. If your number is reserved, it is necessary to remove the reservation (unblock it) for the duration of the notarial act.

How to do it? The fastest way is via the mObywatel mobile app or through the obywatel.gov.pl website.

When? The reservation must be removed before signing the deed. After the visit to the Office is concluded, the number can be immediately reserved again.
